Overview

This week-long adventure takes you through some of Sri Lanka’s most exciting destinations, blending wildlife encounters with outdoor activities and cultural highlights. You’ll start in Negombo with wetland boat rides and bird watching, then head inland to visit the iconic Sigiriya Rock and meet rescued elephants at Pinnawala Orphanage.

The tour continues into the mountain ranges of Knuckles, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its hiking trails and stunning landscapes. From there, you’ll travel to Ella, where panoramic views of tea plantations and the chance to try ziplining await. The hill country offers a cooler climate and some of the island’s most scenic vistas.

Wildlife lovers will enjoy a full-day jeep safari in Yala National Park, home to leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and a wide variety of bird species. The southern coast brings another highlight: an early morning whale-watching excursion in Mirissa, followed by time to relax on the golden sands of Unawatuna Beach.

On your final day, you’ll head to Kitulgala for white-water rafting through lush jungle rapids before transferring back to Colombo for your departure. Itinerary

Day 01 : Arriving in Negombo

Arrive at Colombo Airport and transfer to your hotel in Negombo for the night.
In the evening, you will start your journey to see the Muthurajawela wetland, which is a natural attraction for bird watching.
Enjoy a Muthurajawela Dutch Canal boat trip. This area was once a huge paddy cultivation that has since been converted into marshes with sedge and grasses. It also features a bird sanctuary.
The Negombo lagoon is covered by mangroves and aquatic plants, creating a beautiful green garden near Colombo.
Later in the evening, visit the Negombo Town Fish Market and Fishing Port. The local villagers are primarily involved in fishing and tourism.
Go to “Luis place,” an area where tourists can find food, entertainment, accommodations, shopping, and other amenities.

Day 02 : Dambulla

After breakfast, you’ll travel to Dambulla.
On the way, you will visit the
- Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, which is home to 80 disabled elephants and infants, and you can watch the baby elephants being fed.
- Sigiriya Rock, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring ancient ruins and frescoes.

Day 03: Knuckles Mountain

After breakfast, you will journey to the Knuckles Camp site.
Knuckles Mountain is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful destinations.

Day 04: Ella Paradise

Travel to Ella to visit
- Ella Paradise.
- Explore Ella waterfall and Ella Gap.
Enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Adam’s Peak, which offers breathtaking scenery, including rolling hills, lush tea plantations, and the vast surrounding landscape.
Take part in a zipline adventure game.

Day 05: Yala National Park

Wake up early for a full-day jeep safari at Yala National Park.
- The park is home to leopards, elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and various birds.
- This is a chance to observe animals in their natural habitat.

Day 06: Galle & Mirissa

Start the day early with whale watching in Mirissa. This is a popular activity for observing whales and other marine life.
In the afternoon, relax at
- Unawatuna Beach (also known as Jungle beach). The beach is a picturesque bay with calm waters, golden sand, and lush surroundings, perfect for relaxation and water activities.

Day 07 : Kitulgala & Departure
